He graduated from Judson Christian College (now Judson University) in 1981. He holds a Master's of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's been married since 1982 and has 2 children with
Steven Lindsay is a local Southern Illinois native. He graduated from Johnston City HS. He was called into the ministry in 1977. He graduated from Judson Christian College (now Judson University) in 1981. He holds a Master's of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's been married since 1982 and has 2 children with 6 grandchildren. He is a former consultant for the Illinois Baptist State Association and has been president of the South Dakota Baptist Association.

Rufus is a life long resident of Southern Illinois graduating from Vienna HS in '66. He served in the US Army and retired from Norage. He has been a deacon at Cana for 30+ years.

Justin graduated from Crab Orchard HS in '95. He works as a network technician for Frontier Communications. He's attended Cana Baptist Church for 32 years and was recently ordained as a deacon in June 2025.
